Sailing Club Of Patras
About This Spot
Stepping into the Sailing Club Of Patras, you immediately sense a gentle shift in tempo—a seaside haven where the rhythm of the waves sets the pace. Nestled right on the waterfront of Patra, this spot is neither rushed nor overly polished. Instead, it invites you to lean into a slower, quieter moment, where fresh sea air mingles with the salty scent of grilled fish and the hum of distant boats.
The atmosphere is unpretentious and warm, an extension of its family roots and dedication to authentic seafood experiences. Whether you find yourself at a table under open skies or inside where soft conversation floats in the cozy dining room, there’s a genuine informality here that feels like a local shared secret.
Here, your meal becomes part of the scene—the freshness of the catch visible almost as easily as the ever-changing mood of the sea beyond. The flavors tell stories of nearby waters, from tender calamari kissed by the grill to the subtle brine of marinated anchovies. You might find yourself savoring a simple Athenian salad or sharing a plated variety that echoes the generosity of the sea itself. The experience intertwines with the setting: every bite anchored in place, every dish enhanced by the natural light and gentle sea breeze.
The service flows with the same ease, marked by quiet attentiveness and a welcoming spirit that knows many guests come with expectations shaped by the surrounding beauty. Conversation lingers, not just over food but over the view—a reminder that here, the dining table is a place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy something both rooted and ephemeral.
In the Sailing Club Of Patras, time seems to both stretch and settle at once, offering a pause that is as much about where you are as what you are eating. It’s a place for those who appreciate the quieter grace of a well-loved local jewel, where moments by the sea transform a simple meal into a lasting memory.

Perfect! Location amd setup is great with views to the sea. Service was fast and the food excellent. You can choose from a variety of fresh fish at a price per kg. We had fried anchovies (super!), grilled calamari (good) and grilled sole (fresh and tasty!). All for reasonable prices. Wish to go back in the future!

We had dinner here and the food was amazing! The seafoods were cooked very well with no bad fishy taste. The service was excellent and the waiter was super nice! There’s outdoor AND indoor seating which was really nice!

Enjoy a nice dinner at sunset in this restaurant. Nice staff and nice food, we really enjoyed the tzatziki which was one of the best we ever tried. Grilled fish was nice too but comes at a price in this place (most fish go for 70 euro kilo here) at “Argo” we paid 45 euro kilo for similar fish, but ofcourse you didn’t have the nice beach setting there

Great place to eat seafood in Patras. Nonetheless we could not sat on the right hand side of the terrace as that is entirely for the Sailing Club members. The food didn’t stand out as something ‘wow’ but was delicious anyway. The service was decent. There is one thing is simply superb, it’s the location. Situated on the sea shore, the SCP is undoubtedly tone of the best places to enjoy a breathtaking view while dinning.

A familly business, very kind people, food is fresh, actually you can see and choose your fish, view is great, near the water.

So pleased we tried this restaurant. My wife and I were staying in Patras for only two nights, and the meal here was one of the highlights of the trip. Perfect setting on the shore facing the setting sun, a spectacular setting. We had the seafood paella a dish for two. The flavour was just right with a good mixture of seafood, large prawns and large juicy mussels. We were also pleased to find that the menu was reasonably priced.

One of the top 3 grilled fish I have ever eaten. Here you dine among locals. The grilled red snapper was grilled to perfection and refined with fresh lemons and warm olive oil - an absolute dream. The grilled chicken was super flavoured. We had the "Fresh Salad" beforehand, which was refined with caramelised hazelnuts, cranberries, oranges and dried raspberries. Really recommended if you're in the area. The food is absolutely worth the price. There are plenty of parking spaces right next to the restaurant and just 20 metres down the road there is a huge free car park.
